Police appeal to locate teen missing from Thurgoona

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from southern NSW.

Andrew Wilson, aged 14, was last seen at home in Thurgoona, about midnight on Thursday 11 August 2022. When he could not be located the next morning, officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Andrew's welfare due to his age.

Andrew is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a slim build and medium length brown hair in a mullet style.

He was last seen wearing a grey Champion crew neck jumper, a black cap with a red nose on the side, carrying a black jacket and a Panda dressing gown. He is possibly carrying a blue Fox backpack and may be wearing grey tracksuit pants.

Police believe that Andrew may have travelled to Broadmeadows in Melbourne, Victoria via train.
