Police appeal to locate teen missing from Sydney's south west 3 February

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney south west.

Tyson Kakahi, aged 14, was last seen at a home on Myall Street, Gregory Hills about 10pm on Friday 27 January 2023, and has not made contact since.

When he could not be located, he was reported missing to police from Camden Police Area Command the following day; however, despite extensive inquiries, he has not been located.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

Tyson is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 155cm to 160cm tall, of slim build, short brown hair and brown eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time but may have white 'Nike' Jordans as pictured and a black backpack.

Tyson is believed to be in the Lake Illawarra area and is known to frequent Warilla and Warrawong areas.
