Police appeal to locate woman missing from Penshurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman with dementia in South Sydney.

Jingying He, aged 69, was last seen at a home on Apsley Street, Penshurst, about 5.30pm today (Tuesday 6 June 2023).

When she could not be located, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Jingying is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall with slim build and short grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a white top, denim jeans and round glasses.

Jingying speaks Mandarin and does not understand English.
