Police appeal to locate woman missing from Bankstown 19 November

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman currently missing from the Bankstown area.

Val Paikea, aged 32, was last seen at a home on Urana Street, Villawood, about 6.30pm yesterday (Saturday 18 November 2023).

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries to locate her.

Following inquiries police believe she was seen at Villawood train station about 11.40am today (Sunday 19 November 2023).

Police and family hold serious concerns for Val's welfare due to this being out of character and medical concerns.

Val is described as being of Pacific Islander/ Maori appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build with brown eyes and black hair.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt.

Val is known to frequent the Villawood and Liverpool areas.

Anyone who sees Val are urged to contact Bankstown police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
