Police Appeal To Locate Woman Missing From Sydney CBD 1 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's' CBD.

Florence Maingi, aged 40, was last seen at a hotel on Macquarie Street, Sydney, about 2:50pm yesterday (Thursday 29 February 2024).

When she was unable to be located officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Concerns are held for Florence's welfare as she is from overseas and visiting Sydney.

She is described as being of African appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, with black hair.

Florence was last seen wearing a purple long sleeve top, jeans, red shoes and carrying a white shoulder bag and a small black handbag.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact local Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
