Police appeal to locate woman missing from Surry Hills

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Surry Hills area.

Emeline Vaitohi, aged 22, was last seen at Surry Hills near Central Railway Station about 11.27am on Friday 20 May 2022.

When Emeline failed to contact friends, officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command were notified who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Emeline's is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 170cm tall, medium build, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a long sleeve yellow shirt, denim shorts, white slides carrying a black backpack.

Emeline is known to frequent the Campsie, Wiley Park and Doonside areas.
