Police appeal to locate woman missing from Leichhardt

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's inner west.

Leslie Weldon, aged 58, was last seen at an address on Flood Street, Leichhardt, about 4.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 July 2022).

When family noticed her missing, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to Leslie living with Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Leslie is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm tall, of small build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper with orange writing and is known to hitch-hike.
