Police appeal to locate woman missing from north

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's north-west.

Janet Pittman, aged 83, was last seen leaving The Grove shopping centre at Old Northern Road, Baulkham Hills, about 1.30pm today (Saturday 3 December 2022).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Janet's welfare as she lives with dementia.

Janet is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build, has grey hair, and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a long sleeved light blue shirt with a dark blue chest pocket, dark pants, and bright pink slippers.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Castle Hill Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
