Police appeal to locate woman missing from St George

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from St George.

Maria Tapatas, aged 21, was last seen at a restaurant on the Princes Highway, Rockdale, about 6.50pm yesterday (Friday 3 February 2023).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with medical conditions.

Maria is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 167cm tall with medium build, and has two-tone (brown and blonde) hair.

She was last seen wearing a black knitted top, black track suit pants and Puma brand slides.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
