Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Annette Ormerod.
The 78-year-old was last seen at her residential address in Glen Waverley about 8am today.
Police and family members hold concerns for her welfare as has she has a medical condition which can cause her to become disoriented.
Investigators have released an image of Annette in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her whereabouts.
Annette was last seen wearing a white or blue top and dark trousers.
Anyone who sees Annette or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Glen Waverley Police Station on 9566 1555.
