Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Peter Weiss.
The 78-year-old was last seen in Blackburn North just before midday today.
He is described as 170cm tall, solid build, blue eyes, short white hair and was wearing glasses, grey cardigan, checked shirt and blue jeans.
Peter, who uses a walking cane, was going for a walk around the block but has not returned.
His usual walk is around the block of Springfield, Marchiori and Junction roads back onto Gunyah Road.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions.
Police have released an image of Peter in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
