Police are investigating following a fatal collision at Tullamarine this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Terminal Drive and Centre Road to reports a car had collided with a truck about 2.40pm.
The driver of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
The female passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and has been transported to hospital.
The truck driver was not injured and he is speaking with police.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
