Police are appealing for public assistance following a fatal collision in Mont Albert this afternoon (3 April).
Police have been told a brown Volkswagen Golf was turning right from York St into Mont Albert Road when it collided with a motorcycle travelling east on Mont Albert Road.
The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, received life-threatening injuries and died in hospital.
The driver of the car was uninjured and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Nunawading Highway Patrol are investigating and are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone in the area at the time with dash-cam footage.
