A man has died following a collision between a car and a cyclist in Norlane this morning.
Emergency services were called to Thompson Road near Elmore Street just after 5.30am.
The male cyclist, who is yet to be identified, has died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, is currently assisting police with enquiries.
The exact cause is yet to be determined at this stage and Major Collision Investigation Unit are heading to the scene.
Traffic in the area will be affected for some time so police are asking motorist to avoid the area.
