Police are responding to fatal collision in St Albans 19 January

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in St Albans yesterday.

It's believed a white Peugeot station wagon and a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided on Errington Road near Main Road just after 5pm.

The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old St Albans man, died at the scene.

The male driver of the Peugeot was not injured. He was interviewed by police and released pending further enquiries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
