Police are responding to fatal crash at Salisbury

A pedestrian has died following a crash at Salisbury last week.

About 12.30pm Thursday 7 September emergency services were called to a shopping centre on John Street after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian, a 73-year-old Tiddy Widdy Beach man, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. Sadly, today, Thursday 14 September, the man died from his injuries.

The driver of the car, 70-year-old Gulfview Heights man, was not injured and is cooperating with police.

Major Crash Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The man's death is the 80th Life Lost on SA roads this year compared to 53 at the same time last year.
