Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred at Carranballac this evening.
Officers have been told an Aldi sedan was travelling along Waldrons Road about 5pm.
It is believed the Aldi turned onto the Glenelg Highway and collided with an eastbound 4WD.
The two occupants of the Audi, believed to be a man and a woman and in their 20s, died at the scene.
