Police are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Harcourt North.
Emergency services were called to Fogartys Gap Road about 5pm to reports a car had come off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The sole male occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have closed off Fogartys Gap Road while the scene is being assessed.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined at this stage.
