Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash At Port Pirie

A cyclist has died following a crash at Port Pirie earlier this month.

Just before 5pm on Thursday 16 July, police and emergency crews were called to Flinders Arcade following reports of an E-bicycle crash.

The cyclist, a 49-year-old local woman, was treated at the scene and conveyed to hospital by SA Ambulance with serious injuries.

On Monday 27 July, the woman sadly died as a result of her injuries.

Her death is the 68th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
