Police are responding to fatal crash, Broxburn

A 21-year-old Newtown man has died following a multi-vehicle crash at Broxburn, near Toowoomba, this morning (June 16).

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 6.20am a truck and 4WD have collided on the Gore Highway near Broxburn Road.

The 4WD's driver, a 21-year-old man, exited the vehicle when he was then struck by a utility.

He suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 54-year-old man, was not physically injured.

The driver of the utility, a 55-year-old man, was transported to hospital for assessment.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage in the area at the time is urged to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
