A man has died following a single vehicle crash in the state's west.
About 6.30am today (Wednesday 31 December 2025), emergency services were called to the intersection of Lachlan Valley and Cockrams Road, Paytens Bridge, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Central West Police District, including an off-duty police officer, found a vehicle had rolled, ejecting the driver.
The driver – a man believed to be in his late 20s – died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and investigations have commenced into the circumstances of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
