Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Glenfield

A man has died in a crash in Sydney's southwest.

About 5.30am today (Tuesday 7 April 2026), emergency services were called to the Hume Highway on ramp at Campbelltown Road, Glenfield, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and found a white Toyota utility had collided with a parked B-double trailer.

The driver of the utility - a man believed to be aged in his 40s - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however; he died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

As investigations into the crash continue, police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage, to contact Campbelltown Police.
