Ballarat Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal crash in Buninyong this evening.
It is believed a white Toyota was travelling south-east along the Buninyong-Mount Mercer Road when it lost control and crashed about 7.50pm.
The female driver and sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
