Police are investigating a fatal crash which occurred in Carrum Downs on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Peninsula Link in Carrum Downs about 8pm on 22 February after reports a motorcycle had crashed.
Investigators believe the motorcycle had exited from Eastlink and was travelling south along Peninsula Link before the rider lost control and crashed.
The rider of the motorcycle, a yet to be formally identified man, died at the scene.
