Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Pheasant Creek.
It is believed the vehicle left National Park Road and struck a tree just after 8pm.
There were two occupants in the vehicle who are yet to be formally identified, the male driver has died at the scene.
The male passenger has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined at this stage.
