About 4.55am, a white 2020 Toyota Hilux utility was travelling along a mine access road within a mining tenement, approximately 25km north of Leonora, west of Goldfields Highway, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control and rolled.
The 38-year-old male passenger sadly died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The 32-year-old male driver was conveyed to Kalgoorlie Health Campus for treatment of serious injuries.
