Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Lower Macdonald

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the Hawkesbury area.

About 8.50am today (Wednesday 8 April 2026), emergency services were called to St Albans Road, Lower Macdonald, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and found a motorbike rider had fallen off a motorbike and hit a tree.

The rider, a 59-year-old man, died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
