A man has died after a crash in Sydney's south west.
About 7am today (Monday 22 September 2025), emergency services responded to reports that a man had been hit by a car on Peter Brock Drive, Oran Park.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command have been informed that a white Toyota Hilux was parked unattended in lane one on Peter Brock Drive facing east bound when it was side swiped by a grey sedan travelling in lane two that drove from the scene without stopping.
The owner of the vehicle – a 57-year-old man – was nearby at the time of the impact and is believed to have walked to the offside of the Hilux to inspect the damage when he was struck by a white Holden Commodore travelling in lane two being driven by a 20-year-old man.
The older man died prior to the arrival of emergency services.
The driver of the of the Holden – who was uninjured – has been taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established which is currently being examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
Police are appealing for the driver of the grey sedan to come forward.
