Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - South Yunderup

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating an incident that occurred in South Yunderup on Sunday evening, 11 May 2025.

About 6.20pm, a white MG sedan was parked in the south-bound emergency lane on Forrest Highway, south of Pinjarra Road, when a male and female exited the vehicle.

A short time later, a dark blue Volvo station wagon travelling south on Forrest Highway collided with the pedestrians on the highway.

The driver of the Volvo stopped at the scene, called emergency services and rendered assistance.

The 31-year-old female and the 24-year-old male pedestrians died from their injuries at the scene.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au .
