Police are responding to fatal crash - Sydney's Inner West

A man has died following a four-vehicle crash in Sydney's Inner West today.

About 9.40am this morning (Saturday 9 April 2022), emergency services were called to the corner of Coronation Parade and Wynnstay Avenue, Enfield, after reports two vehicles travelling south and two vehicles travelling north had collided.

A male driver of one of the vehicles could not be revived and died at the scene.

The drivers of the three other vehicles – a utility, sedan and SUV – were uninjured and have been taken to hospital for mandatory testing – one to St George Hospital and two to Westmead Hospital.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command are at the scene, which will be examined by officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.

As inquiries into the incident are continuing, police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Road closures remain in place on Coronation Parade and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
