Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Tarana

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's west today.

About 2am (Sunday 12 October 2025), emergency services were called to Curly Dick Road, Tarana – about 40km southeast of Bathurst – following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended and found a vehicle had left the roadway and overturned.

The driver – a man believed to be aged in his 50's – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics however he could not be revived.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Police have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
