Police are responding to motorcycle crash at Fairlight

A man is in hospital after crashing his motorbike into a parked car on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

About 12.10am today (Friday 17 May 2019), a 28-year-old man was riding a motorcycle east on Sydney Road, Fairlight, when the bike struck the rear of a parked Land Rover.

The man as thrown to the roadway, suffering serious head and leg injuries.

He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where he is understood to be in a stable condition.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by forensic police.

Inquiries into the incident continue.
