Police are responding to serious crash at Parawa, South Australia

Major Crash are investigating a serious crash at Parawa this afternoon that has left a toddler critically injured.

Police and paramedics rushed to a property on Range Road at Parawa about 1.45pm on Saturday 5 October after reports a child had been struck by a car.

The 2-year-old girl sustained serious injuries when she was run over in the driveway by a four wheel drive, being driven by a family member.

The toddler was airlifted to the Women's and Children's Hospital where she remains in a life-threatening condition.

The driver, a 55-year-old man, was not physically injured in the crash.

Major Crash investigators attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
