Police are responding to serious crash at Tarragindi

Two people have received serious injuries, as a result of a collision between two vehicles on Toohey Road, Tarragindi this evening.

Initial investigations indicate, at around 8.30 the collision occurred near the intersection with Barnehurst Street.

The seriously injured pair, from one car, were subsequently transported from the scene, to hospital for medical treatment.

Three people from the other vehicle were also injured.

The roadway at that location is closed for the safety of investigators and drivers are urged to consider alternative routes.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
