Police are responding to serious crash, Carina Heights

Police are investigating following a single vehicle crash in Carina Heights last night.

At about 11.30pm, a vehicle was travelling Northbound on Chataway Street when the driver lost control on a bend, left the roadway and struck a power pole, coming to rest against a parked car.

The rear driver-side passenger, a 19-year-old Carina man, suffered critical injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexander Hospital.

The driver, a 20-year-old Carina Heights man, and two other male passengers, aged 22 and 19-years-old, all suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
