Police are responding to serious crash, Ogmore

Rockhampton Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a crash involving an alleged stolen car on the Bruce Highway at Ogmore on Sunday night.

Police were called at around 7.30pm to the scene of a single vehicle roll over.

A 24-year-old man was flown to hospital suffering critical injuries while two 20-year-old men, including the driver, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A 20-year-old Moura man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.

Police will allege the Toyota Hilux was stolen from Richardson Road, Park Avenue residence earlier the same night. It is believed the alleged stolen vehicle was also involved in stealing from a Marlborough service station prior to the crash.

Anyone who witnessed or has vision of a silver Toyota Hilux with Queensland registration plates 226 JCS is encouraged to contact police as investigations continue.
