Police arrest five people after Hallam shooting

Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad have arrested five people over the past month following a non-fatal shooting in Hallam in October.

On 12 December, 2019 a 29-year-old Tullamarine woman was arrested and charged with home invasion, aggravated burglary, theft and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

On 19 December, 2019 a 33-year-old Kensington man was arrested and charged with aggravated home invasion, aggravated burglary, intentionally cause serious injury and reckless conduct endangering life.

On 20 December, 2019 a 45-year-old Broadmeadows man was arrested and charged with aggravated home invasion, aggravated burglary, intentionally cause serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life and traffic drug of dependence.

All three faced Melbourne Magistrates' Court last month and were remanded in custody.

Yesterday a 44-year-old Hadfield man was arrested and charged with aggravated home invasion, aggravated burglary, prohibited person possess a firearm, intentionally cause serious injury and reckless conduct endangering life.

He faced Melbourne Magistrates Court last night and has been remanded in custody.

Today a 26-year-old St Albans woman was arrested and charged with aggravated home invasion, aggravated burglary, intentionally cause serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life and contravene conditions of bail.

She faced Melbourne Magistrates' Court this afternoon and was remanded in custody.

All five will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court again on 30 March, 2020.

The arrests follow an incident on 6 October, 2019 where a 54-year-old man was shot at a property on Nettle Drive, Dandenong.
