Police arrest four for South Yarra carjacking

Police have arrested four teens for an aggravated carjacking in South Yarra last week.

A boy and three girls were arrested on Friday 20 September after allegedly committing a further aggravated carjacking in Riversdale Road, Hawthorn.

The teens were each charged with aggravated carjacking and armed robbery.

A 17-year-old Ballarat boy, a 15-year-old Ballarat girl, and two 13-year-old girls were all remanded to a children's court at a later date.

The incident occurred on 19 September in Williams Street when the pair allegedly produced knives before stealing the 21-year-old Point Cook man's Ford Laser hatch.
