Police Arrest Man After Break‑in At Wayville Office

A man has been arrested this morning after allegedly breaking into an office building at Wayville and falling asleep inside.

Police were called to a business premises on Greenhill Road about 7.40am on Monday 13 April following reports of a break‑in.

It will be alleged that the suspect forced entry to the premises via a sliding door sometime overnight, discharged a fire extinguisher and rummaged through the office before falling asleep. Staff members discovered the man when they arrived for work this morning and contacted police.

The 28‑year‑old man from Ingle Farm was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of serious criminal trespass, after also being identified as the suspect in an alleged break‑in at a Wayville home on Sunday 12 April.

The man was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at the earliest opportunity.
