Police Arrest Man After Broadmeadows Shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives have arrested a man following a firearms incident in Broadmeadows yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Pascoe Vale Road following reports a man had suffered a gunshot wound on Sunday 28 September about 3.45pm.

A 22-year-old Meadow Heights man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.

Police later executed a search warrant at a property on Bindi Street in Glenroy but no arrests were made.

Today, detectives arrested a 31-year-old Glenroy man and he is in custody where he will be interviewed.

At this stage police will allege parties involved were known to each other and the incident was targeted.
