Homicide Squad detectives arrested a man in Preston following the suspicious death of a woman in Melbourne's CBD on Tuesday night.
Emergency services were called to a Latrobe Street apartment about 8.40pm on 27 December after the 31-year-old Chinese national was located deceased.
The 22-year-old Huntingdale man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are no longer looking for any other person in connection to this death.
