Police Arrest Man After E-bike Robbery At Morphett Vale

A man was arrested following a robbery at Morphett Vale this evening.

Police were called to a park off Elizabeth Road, Morphett Vale about 5.15pm by reports that two teenagers had just been robbed at knifepoint and had an e-bike, e-scooter, mobile phone and helmet stolen by an unknown man.

The suspect rode off on the e-bike, carrying the other stolen items.

The victims, both aged 13, were not injured during the robbery.

The phone and e-scooter had tracking and were pinging at a Hackham West address.

Police attended and surrounded the property.

The e-bike, e-scooter, phone and helmet were all allegedly found inside.

A 20-year-old Hackham West man was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday 27 March.
