Police arrest man after Hillside pursuit

A man has been arrested after he was caught driving a stolen vehicle in Melbourne's north-west last night.

Officers first spotted the stolen 1994 Nissan Skyline on Falcon Drive in Melton about 9.55pm on Thursday, 13 January.

The driver fled on foot but was arrested without incident shortly after.

The 33-year-old Bacchus Marsh man was taken to hospital under police guard with minor injuries sustained during the crash.

No one else was injured.
