Officers from Torquay have arrested and charged a 54-year-old Melton South man following an alleged incident at Point Addis Beach on Sunday evening.
Police were called to the beach about 6pm on 8 November after reports a naked man was seen masturbating at the water's edge near a pair of female surfers.
It's alleged he followed the pair who sought assistance from passers-by who then confronted the man.
It's alleged there was a short verbal confrontation before the man disengaged and started following the surfers again.
Police were quickly on the scene and arrested a 54-year-old man.
He has been charged with sexual activity directed at another person and bailed to appear at Geelong Magistrates' Court on 25 February 2022.
