Murray Bridge Police quickly arrested a man after an alleged servo robbery this evening.
Police were called to the service station on Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge just after 7.30pm on Thursday 7 May by reports a man had entered the servo, threatened the female attendant and stole cash. The suspect left on foot.
The staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.
Police searched the area and located a suspect on Industry Road, Murray Bridge about 8pm.
The 25-year-old Murray Bridge man was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, assault police and resist arrest.
A police officer sustained minor injuries while affecting the arrest.
The arrested man was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday 8 May.
