A man has been arrested after allegedly lighting a fire inside public toilets at Salisbury and will also face charges over a series of bin fires earlier this month.
About 10pm on Wednesday 16 September, police were called to John Street, Salisbury, following reports of a man causing a disturbance.
A witness directed police to public toilets near the Salisbury Interchange, where security staff told officers the man was inside the toilets and had allegedly lit a fire.
Police observed smoke coming from the toilets before the man exited and was arrested. Officers searched the toilets and located fire damage to the facilities.
He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 27 October.
