Carrum Downs police have arrested a man following an assault outside a Seaford hotel last night.
The incident happened in a car-park off Frankston-Dandenong Road just after 11pm on Saturday 20 December.
Police believe that two men were involved in an altercation at the location which turned into a physical fight.
One of the men, a 27-year-old Mornington man was conveyed to hospital with serious facial injuries.
The other man involved in the incident was arrested and is expected to be charged on summons with recklessly cause injury and other assault related offences.
