Police Arrest Man At Findon 28 October

A man will face court after failing to stop for police.

About 10pm on Tuesday 27 October, Southern District patrols attempted to stop a Holden sedan on Waymouth Avenue after it was seen acting suspiciously in the backstreets of Glandore.

The driver refused to stop and sped off.

PolAir tracked the Holden as it travelled along Anzac Highway and into the western suburbs before it came to a stop at a property in Findon.

The driver, a 33-year-old Findon man, was arrested at the home a short time later.

Police searched the car and allegedly located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

He was charged with driving while disqualified, dangerous driving to escape police pursuit, possessing a controlled drug and possessing equipment for use with a controlled drug.

He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
