Police arrest man over at Morphett Vale robbery, South Australia

Police have made a quick arrest following a robbery at a Morphett Vale fast food restaurant tonight.

Just after 9pm on Tuesday 13 July, a man armed with a knife entered a fast food restaurant at the corner of Pimpala Road and Booth Avenue and threatened staff. He demanded cash before leaving in a vehicle with money from the store.

Thankfully no one was physically injured.

Witnesses were able to get a registration number for the getaway car to pass on to attending patrols.

Police attended the registered owners address at Old Reynella and intercepted the suspect vehicle as it pulled into the driveway.

A 33-year-old man from Old Reynella has been arrested over the robbery and is currently being questioned by police.
