Police Arrest Man Over Car Yard And Other Damage

A man has been charged following multiple reports of property damage at southern suburbs businesses on Australia Day.

About 5pm on Monday 26 January, it will be alleged a man threw a paver into the front windscreen of a vehicle at a car yard on Oaklands Road, Somerton Park.

A 56-year-old man from Glenelg East was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and charged with property damage.

Following further investigations into other incidents in the area, including damage to businesses at Park Holme, Glenelg East, and Somerton Park, the man was arrested this morning and charged with additional counts of property damage.

He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 19 March.

Investigations are continuing.
